Doesn't taking the sway bar off affect your handling when going around corners? I always thought that was the purpose of them. Enlighten me
    if I'm wrong.

I feel like this old post is relevant again after Ohio st. came up short to an un-ranked Penn St. LOL

That's not bad. What's the range like? I had 2-way on my MDX and it was wicked far so I got a little spoiled. Just need expectations.

Even my old mid 90's Z28's wouldn't start if the key got wet. Just had to let it dry. I would expect the 2016 technology to be a bit more advanced to where a little water would not strand us.

You are correct but removing it greatly improves ride and articulation off of paved roads.

Lets agree to disagree . I understand what you are saying too. A lot of theft is preventable if people are a bit more careful. Toyota could also have made the theft preventable. A simple sensor/feature in this day and age. All I am saying is they could have prevented thefts, and unnecessary trouble that follows it for tens of thousands of people over the years. After all, 75% of all Tacoma's ever sold are still running and on the roads. They are a giant of a company, and sell more vehicles than any other maker by a huge margin. They even make this truck in Mexico and save more money. 175 Billion in net worth. That's more than the PPP of most countries. $13.81 billion is their advertised profits from this year.

I work in the Semiconductor/chip industry for a tech giant as an EE. All I am saying is an FSR sensor for the drivers seat could be purchased for as less as $7 bucks. Perhaps less than a dollar when buying few hundred thousand of them.

I got it for the tech and improved suspension. could care less about the cheap shitty chrome/plastic. This is why i replaced it with something a hell of a lot better.

I don't have pictures but I installed a pop and lock on my 17. That key thing got old very fast. It took about 2 hours, only because I zip tied the wire every 7 or 8 inches making sure it stayed behind the heat shielded harness. And finding the right wires took a little time. The instruction were for a Tundra. Its loud but it works great

Pop and lock? And without pictures, none of us out in Tacoma land, trust that you actually did anything!
