    I used:

    Angle die grinder
    BFH
    Cold chisel
    Flat disk
    Flap wheel for cleanup
    Black paint for ground down areas

    So not to much for the install. It's a bitch popping the rivets. I would plan on a hour per rivet.

    yup, not a fun job. as stated above

    grinder and some heavy duty flap disks, some good punches, a set of top quality HSS drill bits and a step bit, BFH, vice grips, a couple valium and lots of patience

    i'll come down and help, so long as you don't plan on starting at the crack of dawn again

    Like grind the nubs off flat, then use the air hammer to push them out?
