Dropped marks, ghosts and artifacts all day yesterday. Its just my primary holding me at 388 now. Once I get that into 390 it will be slowed. Especially with my love/hate relationship with PvP

There's a HUGE difference going in at 370-380 rather than 390+. 390+ is cake on normal mode. HM the only thing that gives us any problem is Vosik and the timing of throwing 6 bombs compared to 3 and everyone making it to the room each time without dying. Vosik is the only hard fight (at least for us) in the raid. It's not that it's hard it's just really unforgiving. Don't get me wrong I like it like that. But the rest of the fights in the raid are relatively easy compared to Vosik. Hell... we did the Siege Engine challenge mode the very first time we attempted it on HM. You have to beat it in 6:00 mins and we did it in 5:06.

    Yes it is...

Love it when this happens. Was playing Skirmish with two randoms and they up and left me half way through the match. Said fuckit... Let's see how it goes. At least I didn't go negative. Took me a little while to find a groove to go against 3 others on the fly.

One of the dudes sent me a message in game as said "sorry that happened man" "You're good but those other two sucked". Pretty cool at the end until the fucking hunter had to pad his stats I suppose.

    Oh well...

How come you didnt swap out to the TYS on a few of those long battles? Or even one of the pistoles and TyS combo?

Also, ever watch granader Jake 1v3 trials?
Seriously, dude has that wombo combo and shade step down. He is worth watching to see how he thinks and uses his Hunter. Constantly planning to isolate or flee in a pinch.

Not bagging you by any means, just surprised at your play style in this match. Getting left is horrible and another reason why I only go into 3s or team with a full party. Randoms suck ass, unless its FFA.

If I'd of known that I was going to spawn next to the special crate damn near every time I would have switched out to my shotgun lol. I just kept picking up the special so they couldn't get it. TYS is a okay sniper for PvP. Honestly this was my first round with the new scope so I'm not used to it (obviously). If I thought I could have pulled off a snap shot with that rifle I would have but I didn't think that I could so I stayed with my primary and paid the price once due to running out of ammo.

Yeah I watched that guy before but you have to remember he's playing the most versatile class in the game. Hunters can control a map due to their speed and all the tricks they have up their sleeve. WL's are by far the worst class to take into PvP I don't care what anyone says. None of the subclasses have decent PvP utility. Either it's a one and done super, a revive, or a super that is so easy to get shot out of it's stupid. That's it. So either you play a WL straight up with a few decent grenades or you play something else. I like the idea that I'm taking the worst PvP class into PvP and still holding my own against better players and classes.

Had I known that was going to happen yesterday I definitely would have gone in with a different loadout. Just not a hand cannon. I suck with hand cannons.

Oh... If you wondered why I was playing the Voidwalker... Trying to get the Thorn quest done. That is the last thing I have in my book and it will be finished.

I dont agree about the hunter in PvP. I think its for some and not others.

WL stormcaller is just insane how many kills you can rack up easily.

Still love my Titan. My one friend is back online and we were talking about doing 3s and running 2 bladedancers 1 defender titan

While you may not agree I still maintain that WL's suck the most in PvP. I agree it's all about play style and hunters aren't for everyone. I don't run one because I sucked with one at the start. I wish I would have given it more time but now I have too much invested in each WL to delete one. I notice you didn't put a WL with your 3v3 group? They provide very little in utility so I don't blame you. When we go into Trials if we are running against 3 Hunters or 3 Titans or a combanation of that we know it's going to be a long match. Since I main 2 WL's (Yeah I'm stupid) I know for for a fact that it is so damn easy to get killed (kill someone) out of stormtrance. I should have kept the clip where I did just that yesterday. Hell I don't even run from one like I do a Bladedancer, Golden Gun, or Hammers. You can damn near bet you aren't going to kill someone out of those unless you have a good counter which a WL does not.

But when I can do this playing Voidwalker which is a one and done super I'm satisfied.

At least I was rewarded well after the match with a 398 Cryptic Dragon. I will say if you want to get high level weapons the Crucible is the place to go. I get a legendary drop on average every third game.

Right now ive only got a few people ill play PvP with and one just got back online. He has all 3 classes but moved to WL just so we could do the prime quest when the time comes. For the most part, both of them are tru to hunter as much as i am to Titan.

I figured it would be an interesting dynamic. Run Skorris to buff super on whoevers got the best super time and and enhanced radar on the other 2.

Defenders got blessings to give that overshield. Saint14 perhaps to blind if they rush the bubble or just keep my Armenmatarium and the 2 nades and count on my matador for rushers.

I just know that running a tight group and holding or pushing together is key.

    Hawksaw as my primary
    Matador as my special
    Gjally as my heavy

Yep. That sounds like a good group set up. I "personally" wouldn't give up the chest piece for the Saint 14 since it would be suicide to rush the bubble with blessings on. The only difference I would make in your loadout is swap the GH for the Truth since the Truth aggressively tracks targets. Only reason I was playing with the GH yesterday is I had all my higher light level stuff on and wanted to get the high light level drops. Your Hawksaw is truly a god roll that a lot of people should be envious of. I've got pretty much the same roll on my Grasp of Malok without the threat evaluation sights.

Oh... That Cryptic Dragon that I got after the match has a Fatebringer roll on it. Outlaw and Firefly. Same fire rate and stability as the Mida Multi Tool. I'll be keeping this one.

Seriously man, I had the truth drop a few times but didnt like the rolls. I have to run the gjally for max ll for now. Im working to buff everything I can tho. All my ghosts are 390+ now. Just struggling with primaries atm.

I want that grasp, but i never get it. I save keys for omnicunt but i always get that damn WL collar.

As for that Hawksaw, ive had maybe 5 and this one is by far the most beastly. Its that range that makes it special.

    Bank 1
    SRO 37- ranged combat scope

    Bank 2
Perfect balance or appended mag (6 more shots)

    Bank 3
    Counterbalance

    Bank 4
Single point sling or rifled barrel

Im sure you can tell what I run ;)

Yeah brother that is a god roll for sure. Better than my Hawksaw and I still use it often.

You can get the Grasp from multiple strikes now. Not only Omnigul. I forget which ones but the Grasp drops out of multiple different places now. I farmed Omnigul a few months ago when it was the NF and got 9 of them IIRC. Only kept 2 and the one I use the most is a fucking beast. I was trying out the Hopscotch Pilgrim for the first time in that video I posted and that thing hits like a truck. Slightly less fire rate so that will take some getting used to but if they are all head shots it's a 3 trigger pull so the TtK is fast on it and the stability is off the charts on the one that I got.

I got lucky with the one I got. I agree the stability is stupid on them. I hip fired it into a wall yesterday to see what the pattern was like. Thing is there is no pattern. They all go in the same place. I'll have to get used to the fire rate since it fires slower than the Hawsaw or the Grasp (much like Nerwins Mercy). Pulse rifles always remind me of the M16 play style in CoD (back when CoD was good) so it is a natural gravitation to them for me.
