Pioneer TS-A6972R, 6X9" in the front doors and Pioneer TX-A1672R, 6.5" in the rear access doors. Left the stock tweeters wired in. These are mounted in Taco Tunes speaker mounts. Running off the stock head unit. Sounds great to me and never turn it past 25 on the volume with good bass and mid's all the way through the rest of the spectrum from these 3-way designed speakers.

Bump... surely more than three people have changed out the door speakers. :)

I'm about to get into this and would love to hear what everyone has used in the doors and if they are still satisfied with them? Thanks.

Get a look at the stock speakers with the paper cone, and quarter sized magnets and it will not take long to replace.;)

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
I am looking at some Infinity Reference 6.5" with 1" silk tweeters.

I would normally say me  however my distributor only handles "Pioneer" and not "Premier" so when I need a set for an install I just get them on eBay (usually sonicelctronics). :)

I will have to hold that offer for now... I need to wait till I have money to give you. Thanks for the heads up though!!!

I am really just looking for one that does GPS, DVD, iPod Audio, and back up camera. Aside from that, I'm not real picky. :p
