+2 Fender Flare Development

It looks like a dead "group buy" that never actually had a product.

 

I saw these on Thomas (N-fab)'s Instagram a while ago, thought it was a good idea and I think these are along the line with what OP is/was designing I was interested in them a while ago, but went in a different direction.
when I first started down the path of modding my Tacoma I first looked at/for the Bushwacker cutouts, I used them in the past on my old Ranger, and really liked them, but they don't make them for the newer Tacomas. I did full fiberglass on my next truck because I got hit by a snowplow and needed a full side replaced on the truck.. so I have done both and see value in both.

I understand the desire of a cutout with additional coverage, and think it would do well... but it is a different direction than fiberglass fenders and bedsides, so to each their own.


below can only be described as a molded fender flare designed to look like fiberglass fenders.

Op could at least keep us updated on what is happening, doesn't have to post pictures, at least tell us somthing is happening haha

 

Just buy McNeil 2" over and move on. This guy's "group buy" ain't going anywhere or he would be posting pictures.

There is no product out there to buy haha nobody makes 2+ rear bedsides

lol...I was trying to be nice to 250f comment..Lots of people have been asking about 2" over and I just wanted to give some good news on a dead thread...And Yes McNeil is going to have 2" rear available by end of year...

 

yea but I've seen the guy talking on other threads lately, he can at least post back on His own thread and say he's still dealing with an issue and can't get around to it right now

The entire point was to have rear glass that can support a shell. Will the McNeil glass support a shell? Doubt it. This is a "potential" gb.

I'm sure they claim the 3.5 over will too. 60mph through the whoops and I guarantee it will spidercrack.
