Old age moment..how much for Mass. state vehicle inspection now ?

 

I was having some trouble seeing while backing up with the tinted windows (and probably over 50 eyes). I had already replaced the reverse lights and that still wasn't throwing enough light. So...

I added these this morning. I tapped into the trailer reverse signal wire. I used existing holes in the bumper. Really didn't take that long and I like how it turned out.

I am contemplating adding a switch in the cab to turn them on independently to assist in loading the 4 wheeler or hooking the boat trailer up in the dark. I'll then use a relay for the lights and run power to the bed for a power outlet while I'm stringing the wires.

I did the same thing, just added on light. Made a HUGE difference and I'm going to add a switch as well to manually turn them off/on.

 

I went this route Back up Camera has light even!
Great for hooking up trailers and knowing were the back is when backing into parking spaces!

 

My wife just keeps going till it sounds expensive.

Looking into getting a different CB radio, currently have the cobra 75WXST, looking to get a CB that has a unit

Not a fan of only having the handheld part

 

Installed my Prodigy II brake controller. Pretty simple install.

 

Finding the harness up under the dash is the hardest part.

 

So I did the 30k mtce. All fluids looked and smelled normal.
In all the vehicles I have owned I had only changed diff fluids a couple times. I am a big proponent of preventive mtce but is the Toyota interval overkill? Spark plug intervals are 100k in my other vehicles.

My truck already has a backup camera (OEM) but there are times you need to see wider perspective than the camera. I have these lights slightly angled outward (I'll fine tune tonight) to give a good wide light path. When backing a trailer on a ramp, up a curvy driveway or when in the woods the more light the better and wider view is often necessary.

your gonna regret that location in about a week when you smash your knee into it. i have mine in the same spot and have bumped it too many times to count

 

Lol, since my steering wheel is all the way down, my leg hits that first so I clear my knee in that area. I did think about that though!!!
