    First I'll start by introducing myself just a bit. The name is Mike. I am originally from Oregon and currently stationed at Naval Air Station Whibey Island WA as an Aviation Electronics Tech for the Electronic Warfare plane the EA-6B Prowler. I have been in the Navy for just under 3 years and can honestly say I am truly loving it! I am currently as we speak deployed to Iraq… but home soon!

    Now my Taco story… I have wanted a Taco for a long as I can remember. Back in high school a lot of my buddies had Tacos to go "mud'n" in but me, I had a Geo Metro. About a year ago after returning from a deployment to the Persian Gulf onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, I really started to look at getting a Taco. And finally after a year of drooling and research, I bit the bullet and bought my first Taco. I found exactly what I was looking for. Haven't even seen it yet as I found it online and my parents helped get my all of the paperwork so I could purchase it. My father took it for a test drive for me as well (sucks that he has driven it before me). It's a White 2008 Access Cab SR5 with the tow package and I got a sweet deal.. only 11k miles too!

    Very happy to have joined this site! I already have looked through many treads and there are so many people on here to lend a hand and give advice! I would say we are the Masons of Tacomas… one awesome brotherhood!!

    What I have ordered so far and will be put in as soon as I get back to the states… I couldn't resist!!:

    Eclipse AVN726e Nav/DVD HU
    Alpine Type G 6x9's for the front
    Polk Audio db651s 6.5s for the rear
    ********* install kit
    Tacoma seat covers from toyota parts store online

    What I have planned:
    Put in some smoked 09/10 tails
    Black Head Light Mod --- Thanks to this site!!
    Weathertech floor liners
    Paint all badging black

    Yes, I will post a pic for all of you who took the time to read through this post… And as I have learned, TW members love pics! Will try to get those up tomorrow as I am running out of time on the computer.
