should have gone front runner where you can easily customize. I have changed my back rack dimensions three times and the front once with mostly the same parts, sometimes just a cheap side railing.

It's higher than the Prinsu. For most people, a couple of inches won't matter. But I'm trying to stuff some waffleboards between the camper and rack and need a lower one. Plus, $900 for that puppy...

I realized I missed your picture and your question. Yes, it is the Utility Rack, same one pictured above.

Worst part about working at my job: time & material billing. People are fine and dandy paying our fees until they get an answer they don't like (quite often) and then all of a sudden I'm a racist/fascist/black or brown slurs/etc. etc. #girrrlplease

I've actually only gotten that once...and it was from a guy who got an approval from us. It was along the lines of "I had you figured out wrong...you ain't bad for a Dodger fan."

Edit: and omg if you think my milennial generation is a bunch of entitled DBs...the people I generally deal with (35-65 year olds) are the whiniest, most complacent bunch of entitled a-holes I've ever met when they're told they need to modify something or can't do something

Went through the permitting process for a project (in a different jurisdiction) in 2012. Found that most of the public servants we dealt with were great and seemed to want to see the project succeed. Where the frustration comes into play is when the answers and demands change depending on the person, or sometimes the phase of the moon or which inspector gets assigned. Still no reason to be rude about it though. You sound like one of the good ones.

Yeah, that's exactly how I am. We're here to encourage development, not hinder it, and just ensure that the rules are followed and things are consistent with established zoning ordinances/general plan regulations. If it is, then we're all for it. If not, sorry bro...just enforcing the rules

Edit: yeah that different info is frustrating...on my end too. I end up taking on a lot of extra work/responsibility without receiving compensation for our department yet for being a contact person to get consistent info and stop the duck-duck-goose cycle that pisses everyone (including us) off @EDDO

If they are paying fees and taxes, then it isn't so much an entitlement. More like they are getting their money's worth.

We don't receive tax money, hence the hourly charges to projects, and they're warned up front that they have the option to submit for these things and (for the majority of the projects I receive with my higher level of experience) are in no way guaranteed an approval. Idk, I was just ranting, really. Thanks TW therapy

It's ok bud, I got yelled at today because I billed for slab moisture testing on a slab that is old and we did the testing. They did not tell me they put a moisture system on prior to me drilling into the slab to inset our test chips. Thus compromising the moisture system. The PM even emailed me to tell me he needs testing and scheduled me to do so. Then I get yelled at because I "ruined their slab and did testing when it was not needed."
