    Hi everyone at Tacoma World,

I'm looking for some very serious help. I saved enough money to lift my 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 (NOT TRD) Truck and I'm looking at this lift combo which I'm very interested on pursuing.

All professional feedback is appreciated. YES, I do admit that this IS a newbie question(s) and I do apologize that this might trigger some "Why's" "If's" "Don't" etc., etc., etc.. and may cause some hostility of "Why would you do that?".. whatever. I really want feedback if this is doable or not. It looks safe to say that this is doable and really want to do this the right way the first time and not suffer the consequences later.

    Any professional help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

How big of a tire to you plan to run?

Like said above, what do you plan to do with the truck?

Just be aware that if you do a drop bracket lift, it's difficult to go back to stock or a lower height lift if you ever change your mind.

Thank you MSU Taco & Ice Horse. I appreciate your time on helping me out.

    Budget? - ~3K
How do you plan to use the truck? Occasional offroading - not weekly. Usually once a month.
How big of a tire to you plan to run? 33's

Thank you, Ice Horse. I will take that into consideration when I make that purchase. I may need to think about that.

Thank you both for reaching out to me.

@3k you have some pretty good options. Easy answer is contact @HeadStrong Off-Road and speak with Marie.
Long answer is very open to interpretation depending on who's giving it. Most will likely steer you away from that kit in favor of getting some upper control arms and at the very minimum bilstein 5100 all the way around with ole man emu coils to lift the front and a new leaf pack in the rear. Toytec has a 1" body lift if you feel like you really want one. All that will net you 3" suspension and 1" body and you'll have a pretty decent suspension travel. All that I listed will have you at about 2k and you'll still have cash for tires

Awesome, MSU Taco.. great info there. I really want to be sure that I'm walking into the right direction with this one. Don't want to waste money along the road.

So, I thank you for all the information you've given me. I will look into Head Strong when they're open. They'er close for a couple a few days now.

If you plan to Offroad then 3" is the ideal. Anything bigger and you start to kind of get too high up for off-roading. Hit up Toytec too. They have all sorts of sweet stuff.

King and Icon are probably some of the best quality suspension upgrades for the Tacoma. Pair them with some quality leaf springs from Alcan and you'll have yourself an awesome setup. You'll be getting 2-3 inches of lift and keeping the truck riding great still. I'd stay away from the 6 inch lifts.

Body lift is the last thing I would do to gain clearance. Try to keep it in the suspension. You should be able to clear 285/70-17 tires with 3" of lift and have great performance.

I've done a lot of research on the King suspension setup in particular. I haven't pulled the trigger yet as I still saving up for it. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions I'd be glad to help.

Hi Tacoma005, I may take you up on it. I'm already there on the monetary part. I need the education/guidance on making the right purchases at this point for my truck.
