rcbs204: That website is nice and simple. I like the integrated paypal service. Everything went smooth!

    Thanks.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
sounds like an IE issue for sure. May be the service pack or version of IE or even having the simple compatability mode on IE

This sounds like the easiest solution. Why fight with a browser that is useless just download Firefox. Firefox will work on a Mac or a PC. Simple solutions for complex problems.

(I, too, had to use Firefox, as IE repeatedly error-ed.).

Just a little tech tip about firefox. It is more secure and doesnt have as many holes for hackers to send you virus. IE has to update patches all the time to fix the holes left that hackers use to send you a virus

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!

I FULLY agree with the above, BUT some people don't have/want Firefox. For those that don't want it, I am truly sorry. It is superior in soooo many ways including the ever important, security. Those that don't have it, get it.

If you must use IE, make sure that you have automatic updates on and that your Windows install and IE is up to date. That can cause problems. If you are using Vista, get rid of it and install a real OS, there problem solved.

NOW, before anyone gets on rcbs204s case, let me remind you that he is doing this as a favor to the members of TW. If you look at the cost of doing this Toyotas way, it is FAR more expensive, and it isn't LED. So by all rights since rcbs204 is designing it with "cool new LEDs" he should charge more than Toyotas solution, BUT HE ISN'T. He is charging less than half for something Toyota didn't do. So please understand this has been a lot of work and aggravation for him. If he raises his price to more than the Toyota "product" I will bow out and you can get on his case. But until then, remember this is a favor so take it easy. Patience is a Virtue. AS ALWAYS rcbs204, thank you for bringing this to us.:D

I've used windows in the past, one virus after another. Safari quits all the time for no reason. Firefox is the only way to go IMO.

Since IE is the number one browser, most virus' are written to attack that. A hacker can kill more birds with one stone by focusing on IE, and ignoring us who are loyal to Firefox.

Point taken, all the more reason to use Firefox. Also as I understand it Firefox is actually written by users so there are a lot of nice features and it is being updated all the time to make it even better.

Just ordered the switch. Had a problem like a couple others had, luckly I have a netbook. Went to the netbook and ordered the switch with no problem. A couple of weeks ago at night I had to use the 4HI and had to turn on the map light to find it. My wife was with me and wanted to know why Toyota did not light the switch. I told her a very smart man was correcting Toyota's short sightedness. Thank you for all your efforts, time and patience. I know I appreciate your work.

rcbs204, thanks for the hard work. I know that you have a real life to squeeze in around this. For me, I used to do powder coating at home for people and it snow balled.
Every free moment was spent on it. I do not do that any more and have sold my equipment because I wanted my life back.
    Thanks, you are appreciated.

Ordered mine last night using Vista and IE. Only problem was, I had to enlarge my normal browser window in order to see all the buttons, particularly the "pay now" button on the paypal site. No error messages, everything worked, got the paypal email confirmation quickly.

    Thanks, rcbs204.
