    Fair enough!

    What's that place?

Hmm. I'm kind of surprised to be honest.

Well that too. I've been searthing for new tires recently as these are getting pretty low.

Hmmm. Well sounds like I won't bother taking my truck out, which is perfectly fine. I really just wanted to do something simple like Olds and not wirry, but Sam was saying I wouldn't make it. She's been there a ton.

This will be my 3rd trip out there. Sams family got me into going and I really enjoy it.

I believe we're planning on going new years. If your going them well see if we can meet up.

    Thanks for the info.

Idk if it's a 'nice' system or not. But it works.

I use Foscam's, and a bunch of different ones. Then I have a Mac Mini Server that runs an FTP client where all the camera's send video pics too. Every camera runs off of Wifi and I use a 3rd router that has a hidden network for them.

I basically have a mix of these (9 total). If you like I'll be more than happy to demo it for you.

Not having to run wires in the attic. Easy install, harder to configure. The DVR makes it eazy but they are so clunky to mess with. I like FTP because I just download all the files every morning when I'm drinking my coffee. It gives me more control and is fast. But I'm a geek and I enjoy things like that.

They make some nice DVR software as well, but you'll need a dedicated PC for it and it will stress the piss out of that PC if you add more than 4 camera's too it.

If you want to run cables Q-See DVR systems aren't bad and they are wicked cheap. Most have the ability to access your camera's from the outside world.

If you got a ton of questions we can setup a phone call later tonight and go over everything. I'm more than happy to help someone setup security cameras.

    @MaverickTRD
OH and just so you know I had the same issue with a neighbors daughter. She tired to fight me and my wife, threw a fit then called the cops. She would speed in and out of here like crazy.

Showed the video to the cops, and lots of other videos of her speeding in and out, PLUS her parents saw video of her trying to step up to my wife. Saved our asses big time.

Do you need to post a sign in AZ for cameras in use?

From what I was told by Chandler PD, No you don't have to put up signs saying you are recording. However check with your local po-po as it could be different in each area.

However if my camera's point to someones front door I have to let them know I'm recording their house activities. In which all my neighbors love the fact that I'm the over-watch for our cul-de-sac.

    Edit:

Here is an example of what the night IR's look like. You can't get plate numbers due to reflection but you can get a good idea of the car make/model.

This guy was creeping the other night.

Anyone interested in swapping black door handles with my chrome handles from my 2013?? I might just buy from Toyota and replace but not totally sure.
