I know this is in another thread but can't seem to get an awnswer. I put the 4 Runner TRD PRO 17" wheels on my TRD Off-road. BFG KO2's 265/70/17 and am getting vribration at 55-70mph. I've had them back to discount tire 3 times for re-balancing. They even replaced 2 of them that were only slightly out of round. It's still doing it. My question is if I need any kind of hub centric ring, adapter, or different lug nuts (from the stock ones that came on my truck) to mate the wheels properly? The set up looks bad ass, but does not ride nearly as good as it did with the stock good years. Thanks.

    None. Yet.
I've been looking at doing the same thing, putting 17"s on with either 265/275. So curious to see what is said.

I have the TRD pro rims (2015 4Runner) same as you I believe with stock tires and OE lug nuts. No vibrations here, must be the tires.

I have the same wheel/tire setup with NO issues at all save for some slight rubbing on the WT mud guards at full lock.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
The key work here is "DISCOUNT TIRES". I ordered my BFG KO2 tires online from a wholesaler and had both them and my TRD pro wheels installed at Discount tire. Had it back there twice that day to have them re-balanced. Still had bad vibrations. Did some research and found many opinions that they needed to be balanced with a "Road Force" balancer. Found a shop that used that machine and have been smooth riding ever since. 20k + since being balanced.

Discount tires is a joke. I found out later that they don't do alignments either.... at a tire shop? REALLY??

I recently added this same wheel/tire combo to mine. I had vibrations and a shaky steering wheel at anything >45mph. After 3 attempts to rebalance them, BFG agreed to replace all 4 of them. The dealer that installed them initially told me they were bad and apparently they were correct. I originally purchased them online from 4wd.com so the dealer could not do anything about it. They ride fine now after being replaced with new ones that were in stock at a local tire shop that BFG approved for warranty work.
