This situation is where being aggressively passive feels great but never pays off. I would come back with less, but would prob lose the house over it. Lucky you are in that market though, where I am at there are still multiple offers and bidding wars, I got stuck in one and lost my remodel fund...

 

We got an email that they accepted, but we never got the documents back.. they avoided our calls and email all day. Then they 'Got an offer'. So technically since we never got it back, nope. Shitty practice but not breaking a contract.

 

Oh 100% Wife and I agreed that if they come back asking we'll be lowering our offer for wasting our time. In the mean time. we're looking elsewhere.

 

The one with the taser and cell phone is a good one too!

Nah fuck that, I feel your pain bro, we ran in to the same shit on a house down the street. They wouldnt come down in price, we found some shady shit out about the house after we put an offer in and pulled out, tried to re offer at a lower price and they wouldnt take it. We walked again, that house ended up being on the market for another year and a half and sold at 30k less then our second lower offer. Greedy motha fuckas

 

That blows, we got lucky and they signed right away, but have heard horror stories like yours. I'd walk away, I always feel like there would be bad juju in that house after that kind of crap.

Ahh I've already got like the next 3 grand I come across spent before I've even got it. haha.

Been buying parts piece by piece over last 6 months off Craigslist, finally got it all installed today. Will dynomat the rear panel this weekend.

Shit bumps to say the least.
