OOOooo! Have any details on those two fine automobiles? Also, I see you have an Evo 8. I have an Evo 9 with bolt-ons. Do you have a recommendation for a NE tuner?

 

The STI is the shop car we use for shows and tuning demo's, its got pretty much full bolt ons and about every corner of the interior and trunk modified with an custom sound system. Its sitting on HKS Coilovers now I think with TE-37 RT's and rubber bands because #stancelife...... Its more of a show car and with the amount of 0-ga wire and sound deadening in there its probably about 700lbs heavier than stock. Exterior is the Varis Widebody kit with the rundunce skirts and Street edition front bumper.

The GTR is a customer's GTR - the full details behind it haven't been released yet but its an alpha package I believe.

Yeah... I'm jut not that "savy" per say, that I feel comfortable doing it myself. Afraid something would go horribly wrong, and that puts the fear of God in me not to do it.

 

Morning everyone

I was just thinking of what to do this weekend with the family and I thought of the Jack-O-Lantern spectacular at the Roger Williams Zoo in Providence. So I went to check it out and then I saw the price!

I have been there before and knew it wasn't cheap but I'm not gonna spend nearly $70 for 4 of us to walk around and look at pumpkins. They get $15 for kids over 2!!! That right there is ridiculous to me

 

@Pugga ; no pictures yet for my new LED's. The temps outside last night were cold enough that the silicone wouldn't have cured so I left them inside overnight for it to set up. I'll pop them back in tonight and get them adjusted, I suppose.

Anybody who's thinking about keeping parts, don't do it! I've still got tie rod ends and brake drums kicking around for my '96 Hardbody that I haven't owned since 2009!

Seeing the first snow flakes of the season flying around here in Danbury CT...

Yep. The design for my headlights has the bulbs behind a rubber boot to keep moisture out. But the ballasts need to be outside the headlight assembly (and therefore the boot) to keep from overheating, so you have to make a slice in the boot and run the wiring through it. They include a pack of silicone to seal the slice up with when you're done, so it's not a big deal, but it was just too cold outside last night for it to cure.

Personally, I'm not crazy about the setup. I'd rather they have designed the boot for the wires to pass through it, without having to cut it. Molding an opening into the boot's not difficult.

 

Oh jeez, I didn't realize that. The 2013 was plug and play. I've had them for a few commutes now, all in the dark. I've decided I like them but I need to aim them down a little bit. I have not been flashed at all but when I measured them against a wall, they are pretty dead level so they should be sloping down a bit.

Of course, every LED retrofit except for the Raptor kit for this truck requires a similar mod, so there's not really any way around it. Still, annoying. I much prefer plug & play.

My wife took the boys the other night. My oldest loved it. I'm not sure my youngest got much out of the experience but it's good to get him out and experience things.

 

To me it's just too expensive. Not necessarily for the adults but it seems like they don't want the little kids to go. $15 for my 2yo seems high to me

 

Your experience was what made me not go that route. I bought aftermarket lights that use separate high and low beam for that reason..never put them in though.

 

My hot friend at work went a couple weeks ago..she loved the Prince one as well

 

I took the wife a couple weeks back, it was over and done so quick I was like wtf did we pay for.
