I'm running a BDS lift with Fox Coilovers, fabtech UCA's, and icon add a leafs for a total of 7.5" of lift. It rides as good as a stock truck IMO and clears 35's with aggressive offset wheels. I know it's not everybody's cup of tea but it fits my "Style"

Yea I think thats going to be done Sunday. Friend of mine has all the stuff needed to do it at his shop. If it clears the tires then I will leave it at the 3" mark for now.

You'll tear it up more with a 6" lift on the road mall crawling than going off road with a 3" lift.

there is a reeason that the 3" "lifts" meaning coilovers / rear leaf springs are much more expensive than the 6" lift.

Those HUGE blocks in the back are asking for axle wrap and going to kill the life of your leaf springs. A 3" spacer for the front? Cmon man! Do it right!

One piece of advice for you: When you plan out your lift, don't disregard suspension/driveline/steering geometry corrections, or you will end up with a very sloppy vehicle with reliability and vibration problems.

I love it when someone asks about a 6 inch lift and everybody replies with some stupid bullshit because its not the normal "3 inch, icon stage 50, KO2's with either SCS wheels or SEMA TRD wheels because we are all hardcore wheelers here" responses.

OP: One thing to consider (and it looks like you have) when you are looking at lifting your truck. What is the purpose: In your case, it looks like you either just want to clear your current tire setup and maybe also change the stance. If you are not off-roading and by that I mean actual off-roading not just driving through a dirt road. With a 6 inch spacer lift you could achieve the stance and clearance you want but It wont be as comfortable as a full 6" coilover suspension kit. If you are not worried about how stiff the ride could be you will be ok.

I have had both, a 6" stage 1(spacer kit) and also a stage 2 full coilover kit on my previous trucks. if you are going mudding either will do. If you hit the trails more Id say do the coilover kit. In the end you get what you pay for and what you pay for is completely up to you and what you intend to use it for.

Yeah, I know...the meanness from some members of this site is very contagious.
However, I do like the "Grave Digger".

Pro Comp has a 6" full suspension lift. Its good and its not too much $$$$$.

No doubt a 6" inch lift looks cool and will perform great in mud bogging to each his own. But if anyone thinks for one second this ride will be a good handling vehicle on the streets you better do some research. I have done extensive research for off roading and the conclusion is lower is better . what ytou are trying to accomplish if you do any hardcore wheelin is keep the geometry as low as possible tofit the desired tire size. I put 50k into this rig and know it to be fact.20150927_133653.jpg 20151004_121727.jpg

I've been waiting wanting 6" lift also for my truck but I heard you have to change gearing also, 4.88 is that true? I mean if I went with bigger tires than the 285s I'm running now?
