Alright, ive been smoking for about 3 months now. smoked about 5 packs of cigs my whole life. i also have asthma but lately i have been having these weird symptoms. i just had the flu and had bronchitis 2 times in about 4 months(which could be causing my symptoms too). dont smoke alot but have been on my 5 week break.

    so here they are

my biggest concern is that when i stand up i get this sense of vertigo a few times a day. like everything goes numb and white. i also have been getting this pin/needle feelins in my fingers and toes. on top of that. i have this ache in my left lung and in my shoulder sometimes when i work out.

i got an xray for my chest 3 months ago when i had bronchitis and nothing came up so thats why im not sure if its cancer or just from smoking too much recently with my asmtha.(normal pain that goes away if stopped)

just curious to see what you guys think.

oh yea and i havent coughed up blood, or been coughing much at all :pccoffee:

I quit smoking after I ended up with bronchitis. Not worth it dude. Waste of money too. Quit now especially since you have asthma. That's like someone with a bad liver drinking alcohol.

Quit smoking. It does nothing but waste your money, degrade your health, and cost you even more in the long run with increased health care costs down the road.

I was going to type a bunch of shit up about hypotension, vasoconstriction, and nicotine, but then I thought better of it and went with this:

Consult your physician. You should not get medical advice from the internet. Especially not a truck forum.

I smoked 14 yrs. I had quit for 8 til alot of stress popped up in Nov. I picked back up to a pack a day by December. I noticed a cough all the time and my lungs hurting. Smoked my last 1 yesterday since the stress is almost all gone.

Drop em man...I used em this time as a crutch which was STUPID!!!! You don't need the damn things.

Hmmm, thats the way many people grew into their 2 pack a day habit and never ending supply of lung butter production.

...and i'm sure the pot which you draw in deeper and hold longer (i've heard...) has nothing to do with it...

NO! Keep smoking. Between you retards and fat fuckers, I have some serious job security!

Now excuse me while I go start a thread regarding why my tires keep going flat after driving over broken glass, rusty nails and rabid suicidal porcupines.

what the hell is this shit. who said i ever smoked for COOL POINTS TO BE TIGHT AND FIT IN? maybe i like the taste?

obviously since im having these problems i MYSELF can conclude i should stop smoking. i didn't ask for the D.A.R.E committee to give me a bunch of shit telling me im immature and stupid.

i asked for your guys opinion on what health issue could be causing these symptoms.
