9 is the most I've ever had. I already claimed today with only 5 .so I've got to wait until about 5am until I can claim again. 2 of them are currently lvl 2 gyms with just me on them so I doubt I'll still have them in the a.m. but the other 7 are all level 7 or better and 5 of them are level 10:bananadance:

Holy Christ this saddens me. I'm lucky to even take over a gym with one of my 2k+ 'mon, let alone hold down 10 of em with 'mon in the teens! What I wouldn't give to have a bag full of incubators :sadviolin:. Props to you guys for having a whole slew of gyms. Now back to my Cubone genocide.

It's a recent change in me area. It used to be valor on every gym and I was lucky to get 1 a day but I would always have to battle it first and claim right after. Now my whole town is yellow with a couple mystic gyms but hardly any valor anymore. I think majority of the folks who burned out already were red. It fits their aggressive team description anyway...

I've notice the drop in Valor gyms too.

I hatched a 10k egg that turned to be an Eevee. Got 30 candies. Nothing special, just a big bummer

Just did a mass evolve to clear some space in my bag. Had 78 pokies lined up and that took me exactly 30min but I had to transfer 6 pidgey so that took some precious seconds away and I also had to scroll all through my bag to get from each 'mon to the next so that was some more time wasted. Out of those 78 only 2 were new to me (Blastoise and Gengar) so that was a minimal use of time on that screen as well. I'd say you could safely get 80 if you have them organized right...

in short - mass evolve netted me 81k XP and I still didn't level up :bananadead:

Oh and I evolved my 3rd Arcanine...the third one to have Bulldoze too:frusty:

Edit: 3 new to me, forgot about good ole Dugtrio...

Been eyeing this gym since July across the street from my work in a storm drain, it's one of those county survey markers. One side of the storm drain is a post office employee parking lot, the other side is a private zealot religious academy. The academy is a no-no, I'm not going to step onto a playground without knowing somebody there lol. But today I walked past the parking lot and the vehicle entry gate was stuck open, I wonder how well USPS pays attention to someone walking through their vehicle gate? It's been a few days and the gym is just a lvl 2 with a 1,800 palm tree holding it down, I want to drop my 2,300 Arcanine there and see how long it lasts. I think tomorrow is the day, if someone approaches me at least I'll be in nice work clothes & can just play dumb. :anonymous:

I do that already too :anonymous:

Only takes like .00002 seconds to drop a 'mon if it already has an open spot. I do it all the time in places I shouldn't be

Alright so I've noticed that sometimes you get a higher CP Pokémon that's bar is less full than the same Pokémon with a lower CP. These two for example:IMG_3580.jpgIMG_3581.jpg

So my question is which one should I evolve? Higher CP or more filled bar?

For staryu, it doesn't matter because starmie is crap lol. The CPs vary because each pokemons Individual Value (IV) is different as well as the pokemons level

Edit: I would do the higher CP one for sure

I strictly use CP. I don't care at all about IV. It's a waste of time IMO. The difference between a good IV and a bad IV has less than 10% impact on that pokie, why bother?

In your example though, I'd do the one with more bar since the CPs are so close. That way if you were to power it up you'd be able to power up more before it's maxed out. But, this is starmie so don't waste the dust powering it up...

I do use the appraisal feature. As long as he doesn't say something bad like "could use improvement in battle" or "this Pokémon is just OK" I'm good to go with the evolve...

Edit: by more bar I mean less bar. I was referring to more bar remaining but that's probably confusing. Just do the one on the left :bananadead:
