I blew the seals on two shocks. One Nitro, and one extended travel Rancho, on the same side. So, yes, you can damage they shocks.
You will lose at minimum 3" of down travel.
Dakars, Nitro's, full droop of both. A pic is worth a thousand opinions.

While flexed that side will want to droop a little more than that aswell.

If you read my post right after yours I told you you would've been fine. Don't even need to be too careful when you go off-road. I can guarantee you don't do anything like @Squeaky Penguin and friends so you're fine with nitrochargers for now

Is @Squeaky Penguin now an official standard for offroad recklessness? What do i have to do to get a title like that.

Well he's one of the few guys that I know of that is still in this thread that off roads like a mother fucker. I may not see you Offroad as much because I'm not in those threads. I'm sub'd to his build, CO BS thread, CO trip reports and a few other CO guys builds. So I see him Offroad a lot. (I'm not stalking him :anonymous: )

Ha I know. Just giving you a hard time;) But y'all were making it sound like it's a huge "no-no". Lol. I certainly appreciate all the deedback from all the experts. Just not quite ready for that project yet. And if I can get by for now 3/4 of the way, I'd be happy.

No, I'm saying you'd be fine without relocating right now.

Gonna take note to this. Just another person wanting some more flex. Thinking about getting toytec Boss lift kit for my next setup. Curious to see what they do.

Love the pictures. Makes me wanna change out my old shot leafs and put new OME leafs and shackles.

Toyota replaced my LBJ's, lock tight is a good idea, and there's a cotter pin too (put in a new one).

I'm running this too and that's exactly what my rear looked like during the install. I've been running this setup since the spring and everything looks fine, but I know I'm topping them out pretty easily because of how low the leafs droop.

I'm just waiting to hook up w my cousin to weld in my crossmember and shock brackets.

I thought if you worked on your frame or coated it yourself the Toyota recall would be void. I hope you made sure. That looks pretty bad.

What if you relocated strictly for mall crawling purposes?

Some of those curbs can be quite tall:D:anonymous:
