@sente3 - do some preliminary shit before the trip.

Several days before the trip and every day, PB Blast the hell out of everything and anything that looks rusted/frozen, which, looking at your pic, pretty much looks like everything

 

I can certainly do that much. I just don't know what parts would be needing persuasion. I suppose it wouldn't hurt just spraying every damn part in the surrounding area. IDK what tools would be needed though. Not that I really have much anyway.

 

Most of us carry basic tools. I also happen to carry two impact guns, slide hammer with CV attachment, mallet, tie rod puller, socket and wrench sets, pliers,and other odds and ends.

 

You carry more tools in your truck than I own total.

This group has already proven that they will go out in the rain, mud, slippery rocks and do all kinds of crazy shit to help anyone. Believe it or not, we've only met this summer.

Believe me, your gonna be deep into this repair. You hands are gonna get dirty

I am good at shutting up. I am certainly do that at a moment's notice.

I'll be damned if I never have a hand in fixing my own shit. Years ago, sure, but ever since I started doing my own repairs and maintenance on my last car, I have done everything myself or with minimal assistance. It wasn't until Ryan came over to get that ADD actuator swapped out that I ever did less on my vehicle than someone else.

 

I am gonna have to pick some more up then. I only have half a can left. Not gonna be enough...

This is basically where I was at when I started. Barely been camping only a couple times, never had an offroad vehicle. The more you go the more you learn. It's great.

This but you can get away with 36 if it's all you got. Funny part is takeover is the first time I changed a cv and I did it twice that day ha
