Hi I have 03 toyota tacoma double cab trd v6.I recently changed my tranny mount. It feels great but has this tremble now. I thought it was the new mount paid no notice to it.Then one day i held one of the window switches a little longer than usual and tremble went away.So I am thinking maybe I touched a grownd wire near by.What ya think.

I'm not sure what a tremble is... unless we're talking about earthquakes.

    Vibration ?

    Hesitation stutter ?

Is the window glass in the doors loose ?
Maybe the side channels that the glass rides in has come loose slightly ?

Or the adhesive in the lower track is allowing for movement there ?

I think I'd be pulling my door panel and making sure that the window glass/mechanicals are still tight.
Time has a way of loosening up things.

Much more likely that there is a vibration in the door that you feel then 'fix'. Neither of which relate to the trans mount.

    Ok.

I'm not buying the whole interlinking of trans mount-vibration-fixed by door switch. But I'm not real smart.

Let us know what you find.

There's a 12mm bolt head about 10 inches below the door latch on the door. It sometimes becomes loose and causes a rumble sensation.

How the hell did this go from Tranny Mount, to Window Switch, to valve covers and exhaust bolts?!?

Sounds do funny things to the untrained ear. They start one place but show up in an area close by, or you think it's one component but it's the one next to it. About three years ago, I changed the belts, and tightened them too tight. I fired her up, and for some reason, she started making a ticking and "glubbing" sound that resonated throughout the engine, so I thought I bent some kind of shaft in the a/c, ps pump, fan mount, alternator... something got bent tightening the belts. Loosened them up and the sound actually diminished some. The truck drove smooth with no leaks or component failure, trans shifted fine. But the sound was still there.
In August '16, I took the truck to get new tires, leaf springs installed and an alignment. The mechanic who worked on it said he heard a "deep tick" in the engine, and suggested the Toyota shop across the street. Took it to that guy, and he said "the engine's fine, it's the transmission that is ticking". Turns out the torque converter is shitting the bed, and my Pearly is now at Detroit Transmission getting the trans. rebuilt to the tune of ~$4K. Had to take out a loan for it too :pout: but it's worth it to me. Glad to hear OP got his problem fixed, and on the cheap too.
