Just go to a Toyota Trail Riders meeting, 2nd Thursday of the month at 7pm at Pappas BBQ on Northwest hwy.

Plenty of modded Toyotas, Tacomas, FJs, T4Rs and Land Cruisers. Usually reps from Toyota of Dallas/TRDparts4U, Tandem Automotive, Red Dirt Off-road. Occasionally other local fab shops. Not sure if it will happen in Nov as the next day is a wheeling trip to Barnwell but there should be some presence.

Rahr is not a very good option, there is very limited parking. Martin House, Collective Brewing Project or Wild Acre would be better for a Fort Worth brewery, or Flying Saucer downtown FTW.

It's good, brisket and turkey were good. Ribs were a little tough and just ok. I had Hutchins BBQ today and ate every bite

Lockhart is pretty good, Hutchins is better, Pecan Lodge is the undisputed BBQ champ in DFW though.

the beef ribs are always overcooked and the brisket has waaaaay too much sugar in the rub which leads to a helluva burnt crispy crust which takes away from the flavor of the meat

I wouldn't be opposed to that honestly. I used to do it with my gm truck forum
