Of course it's Friday but the kicker is my MPG this morning. I don't drive to work often (I take a train) but today is a drencher so I didn't want to deal with the PITA train/bicycle commute. Logged over 26 MPGs on the drive! Really feel like the transmission is shifting almost exactly how you want it to. Still noticed one spot where it downshifted while coasting down a hill-they should program it to just let it roll, don't get that. Anyway, super happy!

Glad to see you are enjoying your trucks fuel efficiency as much as I am. Did two trips this past week. Sacramento to Tahoe and back where I got 21.2 MPG in mountain driving (and 30.1 MPG on the way down the hill). Then just got 21.4 MPG going Sacramento to Oakland and back in freeway commute traffic. I am extremely happy with that.

Of course I am coming from a Nissan Xterra where I got 14 MPG so this is a huge improvement for me.

I have just over 7k on mine now and the mileage has been coming up a little bit. Last tank I averaged 21.4 and got over 400 miles out of it.

I average about 18 mpg on mine currently. Lots of city/traffic driving as well as a heavy foot. Can't wait to take it on some trips on some open highway and see what kind of mileage I can get out of it.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I was able to get a tad over 20 when stock going 55 out in the country with no traffic or stops. In the city I'm lucky to get 16

That was while "in cruise"... yes..?? I've noticed that while "in" cruise" but not at other times..! I think it's to maintain the speed that you set..

That's about right, mine took around 1800 to drive nice and dismiss all the little annoyances, but continued to make finer adjustments all the way to 7-8k or there about.
I now have 13k miles on the clock and never checked, or have had the ATF lvl or TSB done and I'm a happy camper too!

    Cheers!

I got 26.4 MPG the other day, but that was Imperial Gallons.... About equal to...23.4 MPG, US Gallons
