    hey guys,
I'm lifting my '07 truck with a 3" OME Lift and decided I want to change out my tires, maybe my rims (haven't decided yet...some days I move my stock rims other days I'd love aftermarkets).

Here's the question, what size should I pick?

    [EDIT]
    285/70/17
    285/75/16

note...I do very little offroading, so its mostly highway miles and all for looks. not sure how to add a poll...

    285's my friend.
IMO, I think 265 looks goofy on a 3 inch lift.

I'm running 285-70-17's on mine. NO rubbing at all and I have the Toytec ultimate lift kit on her as well.

jrobson! I love those wheel/tire combo, looks badass. I'm stuck trying to decide between

Motometal 955 285/70/17 and KMC Enduro XD122 285/75/16, both with nitto terra grapplers... :(

Might rub a bit with 285's but I think it'd be worth it. With 265's there won't be any rubbing at all.

Since it's just for looks, I'd go 285's.

Just a note; with stock rims and 285's, it's gonna rub more that an aftermarket wheel with less backspacing.

For comparison here are 265's + 4 inch lift.

I gotta 3 inch lift with Light Racing UCAs and I went into DT to have tem mount up a 285/75/16 and it wouldn't fit at all. The tire rubs the UCA because the stock wheel doesn't have the right offset or backspacing! FML!!!

Colts, you will need spacers to keep your stock rims with 285's.

Yea...I'm not a big spacer fan so I went with the 265/75/16s until I've got the loot for some -4.5 back spaced wheels...then 285s :)

I went with the Hankook Dynapro A/Ts...
