Hahahah quite a few people really like to asset their opinions without knowing all the cirumstances hahaha. I just jumped ship & let them do their thing. For me it's more of a matter I want to make 100% sure whatever I choose to do with my truck that it's what I want so I don't end up like many people buying 1 setup for their truck then getting a whole different one later, prefer to spend my money wisely if you catch my drift :D

Yea definitely take your time deciding what you wanna do.

The only thing I see is that if you go lt and do actual desert runs many things are bound to break and as a dd on a budget that can be a problem. Just my 2 cents:hattip:

    It’ll be a fun project either way:bananadance:

Agree with you there. A new recent option I've considered is if I can get my mpgs up a little better is keeping the truck mostly stock since it's my daily & maybe getting a older 4x4 as a weekend warrior :notsure:
Although I've also considered ALOT of other options hahahaha:laugh:

Welcome to my pain every day. 1.5 to 2.0 hrs a day each way to drive 19 miles. You need a TW sticker you'll get spotted faster.

I guess having a mechanic fix his truck so that it runs properly is not wise for @Nicklovin ... to each their own.

If you don't want to fix your truck, by all means, don't fix it. We are a community and people love to share their opinion. My .2 if you have several people putting forth their opinion that it's smart to get your truck inspected I'd take that advice. BTW- firestone complete autocare places offer a free insepction which means you don't spend a penny unless you want to. So you can have a win/win, know exactly whats up with your taco and spend $0.00 :poking:

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Supposedly AAMCO will hook up an ODBII and identify your codes for free, as well. Now I dunno if that includes repairs and they discount out the inspection? But it's a thought.
