Dang that sounds like a good alternative to what's out there currently. I've been holding off on lifting the rear of mine until I had my mind set on what I wanted, but I may end up holding out for these.

Does the L59-110-R that was on your '16 also fit the leaf pack from a 2015? (2nd gen)

Yes, using the same spring for 2005-17. With the bed empty though, it's a bit firm. With 200LBS in the back (carrying around some wheels and tires), it rode great. So for a stock rear end without bumper or weight in the bed, the parabolics would be best. or use the L59-110-R if you will add weight, or regularly carry weight.

I'm doing some checking now against the CS047R.

The good news is: we make a greasable pin kit for the fixed end of the spring (front of the truck) so that it can be easily greased.

EDIT: made a new separate post about all this to not hijack this thread. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...s-greasable-pins-and-bush-kit-2005-17.458013/

That's been my issue that's made it difficult for me to pick what I want to do. 95% of the time I'm running an empty bed, but about 4-5 times per year we go on camping trips where I have 300lbs+ in the bed along with 2-3 additional passengers. I've hit the bump stops a number of times on the factory leafs running weight like that.

Yeah, a lot of people are like that. I've made a new thread for this subject. I put it in 2nd gen tech, since this is a common deal for them, and the springs are the same thru 17 models.

If you go after market, -12mm offset wheels give a good stance, my moto metal 955's are -12mm 17x9 with 265/70r17 BFGOODRICH A/T 1477692369687372034398.jpg ko2.

How does the rear ride with the Deaver AAL? Mine is a little higher in the front so I'm trying to decide between a 1" block or an aal.

Your truck looks nice but that sounds like a good idea. From the pictures it appears to be a tad lower in the rear but pictures can be deceiving.

I think it rides fine, it's stiffer but still has a nice ride.

I got 37.5" at the front fender and 38" on the rear.
