I just swapped out my grill @customcargrills ! I got the small trd emblem coming soon to attach into the bottom right corner. But the install and glueing grill to bezel was pretty easy! I'm happy with it! Oh yea took about 20min to actually take off and install grill and back on.

Great job, looks like something I would be interested in doing. Any chance you could do a brief write up, at least what parts you used, thanks.

New 17 DCSB Off Road here. I notice my automatic shift knob (reg., not TRD Pro) can be easily moved clockwise or counterclockwise with not much effort. I noticed it because it was cocked about 15 degrees. What is supposed to hold the knob in alignment? Just a very tight threaded fit? Does it bottom out on the shaft? Thread locker? Just curious how it can be tightened up so it does not rotate at all. Thanks in advance.

Also, put a jack under the front and took a look at what my truck will look like next week. Icon coilovers set to give 1" lift.

Hi Will, I can't contact you due to your privacy settings, would like some more info about your rack (on your truck). I am looking at a Ryder Rack but just saw your posted picture.

hi everyone, I had a few questions in my mind for a long time.

    1. For the first 5K service, can we ask nicely the server adviser to service anything or do they just limit it to tire rotation and whatever is there in the check list? For example, I'd like to also have my squeaky sounds from the truck bed addressed or can I have my diff serviced etc or can I demand new trans fluid or I want to check again the trans fluid level or want tire alignment? I don't understand what all comes under 'Free service'.
    2. Maybe dumb question, but are Tacoma's of North America known as Hilux' in other countries?
    3. Again dumb q, I have not tried this, but what happens while driving down the freeway and I accidentally press the start/stop button.
    4. How do I shut down the door chime sound when I open the door after I stop my truck (not shutdown, still idling) at a destination?
    5. How do I put an image on the home screen of the Nav unit for startup/shutdown? And what dimensions should the image file have, and what format should it be? JPG, PNG?

    Thanks!

Not all dealerships are equal. Talk to the service manager. If he's a dick you are only getting what's on the check list. And even that will probably be half-assed. Some service departments on the other hand are good.
