    Heard front end clunking, knocking sounds, wen pulling in forward on sloped driveways or off camber situations. Truck sounded and felt like a POS. I was so happy when I found it. Torqued it solid, and truck was awesome again.

    IMO, this type of joint stands the greatest chance of self loosening because the lateral movement under the surface under the bolt face / nut.

    Damn. That's not my sound. All the rest of my bushings make that noise because they're still over tourqued, but not the fronts.

    Not exactly. My problem, and cause of noise was that was the bolt and nut had self loosened after I wrenched it and went off road. The noise was probably the core support being beat to hell and bolt rattling around. I already had the ES bushings in there. I found the loose bolt and nut and torqued it good, and it and fixed the problem.

    Toyota states that the nuts, are one-time-use only. My experience should serve as a warning to others, to use lock-tite, nylock nuts, or new hardware from stealer.

    I ordered new nuts from stealer and I am goign to double nut it with lock-tite.

    Doing this as I type... I've got all 4 nuts off and the front bolts loose but the tears are seezed as yours were... I've tried the bfh for an hour along with lots of pb blaster.... Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated of getting the rear bolts out. Oh and the clips are off from the pins.. Actually already was.

    I sprayed PB Blaster from the top and let them sit while I did the front. It was probably an hour. I still needed the BFH, but they broke free.

    I got the passenger side done but the rear driver is severely stuck... I sprayed for hours and hit it for hours too still stuck. I'm hoping spraying overnight will do the trick, I'll bang on it some more tomorrow.

    The tip of the bolt you can see in pic is flattened out and I doubt will fit through the opening of and when I do get loose... I think I'll have to cutoff the tip.

    i decided to do this because of the pinch welds banging against the sliders like you and also like you flipped it so the larger cushion is on top... Looked like doing the larger on bottom would not have solved the problem, as it looks to be same as stock.

    Factory specs, in first post on this thread. With new lock nuts, bushings are great, hardware won't loosen. I've beaten my truck severely now for hours off road and I trust it all now.

    I didn't torque them. I just tightened them tight with my 1/2" ratchet.

    Edit: I used my 3/8" ratchet for that.
