Looks good. I had to open the hood and shut it several times to reduce the gap and settle in

The upper hood bracket is actually hitting the light bracket when closed. Gotta shave bout 1/8" off of the light bracket to clear. Thought about the BFH method but I think cutting will yield better results.

Hmmm I like your thinking. What is BFH method? Maybe my approach was not as effective

In light of the half a night's rest in the hammock last night, I have decided to figure out how to do it correctly.

Like I guessed... it was too tight.

    http://www.treklightgear.com/treklife/hammock-angle/

Might have to give it a try tonight. Seems a bit cooler out, but thats what sleeping bags are for. I used my cheapie bag last night, basically as a hammock liner and wasnt cold.

    Lifted, Armored, needs more lights.
I was active Army for 6 years, my feet are fricken bulletproof. Just need to keep them aired for stench control.

Hell Chuck Norris wouldn't even mess with my feet.

Amaze-balls... I own three hammocks and just finally figured out how to sleep in them. Loose is the way to go! I think I'll be sleeping out here often.

@iRideMTB has dibs on my topper if i get eaten.
