    Depending on where in Lakeland you are, you could also take US 98 all the way over. It passes by a few miles from the south end of Citrus.

    Yea, 98 runs through brooksville, then further north. If you look at a map and follow 98 through brooksville till it crosses 491, citrus is about 5 minutes from there.

    What happened ? Did anyone go ?

    I took my son to Monsterjam, we had a blast.

    SO is there any plans for Feb. ?

    Also my son has Spring Vacation 3/28 - 4/3, I want to take him kayaking maybe the Hillborough river on one day and do a little trail riding another day too, maybe Citrus.

    Let me know if anyone is interested.

    I wasn't sure if anyone was going to go or not but I ended up going up there around noon. I drove through the campground once but didn't notice your truck. I forgot what site you said you would be at and your phone number. I ended up driving around till about 3:30 and then headed home.
    They sure did a good job of flattening out all out play areas didn't they. Hopefully after a few good rains it will wash them back out again.

    Yes they did flatten some of them(16,4) but 14, off 13, and the old railroad off 9 is still great!!
    there was alot of water out there and some good mud! we probably drove 100 miles on saturday!!

    well we had 3 up there, with you and srq would have been 5.
    i think we have a problem with:
    1. alot of people building street whores for looks rather than function.
    2. nobody wanting to get their truck dirty(in fear of having to clean it).
    3.people afraid of breaking something
    4. people just not being interested.
    these things have always puzzled me......why do poeple buy 4x4s if they dont take them off road and put them to good use?
    but to each his own!
