That's one nasty pinhole. In the mind "it's just water" but water when superheated is definitely no laughing matter. I am reminded that water when pressured and jetted is used to cut metal after all.

For me the mishap came while working for a carpet cleaning company. We had a gas engine-powered pump hooked up to a kerosene burner that heated our water for the cleaning. This particular day we were cleaning tile, which requires higher pressures (550 psi normal to 1,200 high for tile). The kerosene burner only activates when water is flowing through the system, which normally heated is 155 degrees, or 200 for tile. A small check valve which regulates the burner failed and the burner began operating at a constant, heating the water to an irregular 300 degrees. I noticed this and immediately turned the burner off, and used the flow control valve to circulate water through the system to help cool the burner down. Most of the hoses in the system are hard line however some are steel-braided transfer lines, and one of those is used on the circulate line, which catastrophically failed from the internal pressure of the 300 degree water on top of the 1,200 psi from the pump. Sounded like a bomb went off.

Oh wow. Yup. That's the real deal potential deadly casualty alright. We used 1200 psi superheated steam on the ship for propulsion. Speaking of bombs... I witnessed a 1200 psi superheated boiler pant before. Scariest moment of my life. You're the real deal, man. Respect.

Awesome! Not often do people build their own bumpers  Are you going to fit the factory turn signal to your bumper or relocate them to the side markers?

I'm haven't decided if I'm going to use the stock turn signal housing or go another way. Right now I'm just getting the main structure and wench platform buit than latter I'll adding some lighting mounting tabs, wench hooks, etc.
