Having a bike is worse for your wallet than a heroin addiction. No money left for anything other than a 5 lug Taco.

Normally I would put a self-confessed (or publicly-outed, for that matter) gixxer owner immediately on ignore, but I am glad to see you have recanted your ways and are now paying heavily for your earlier sins. Feel the buuuurn! (Totally envious of the 1199.)

Well I used to ride a SRAD 750. Bought it new, put 76,000 miles on it. Before BROS were born :)

Then in 1999 bought a yellow monoposto 748 (has 48k miles now), and never looked back.

    Really want the new 1299.

I put about 20K + miles a year on two wheels.

Nice. I used to ride that much, then I got a dog and my social life ended. Felt guilty leaving the dog w/ sitters for the weekend while I went riding. Gave up riding, only to spontaneously buy a 2009 K1300S (favourite bike owned to date) a year & a half later. Barely put 5000km on it that season, and gave it up out of pure poseur shame.

    Kinda miss it.

Grew up with dogs all my life (parents had them). Never had any animals myself. Too much maintenance. Yeah I have friends like you (can't go anywhere, cuz they have to let their dog out etc).

Now I make friends with people without animals :D

Take a closer look at the tires, looks like low pressure? Unless this was done on purpose...

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Good thing I removed my sway bar

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I usually get 2 tires off the ground when I go wheeling. Yet all 4 stay on contact with the ground during highway speeds.

    Yawn...
What's better is the side by side video with the older Hilux from 2007 performing in the same manner.

Good to know, but not a game changer. For me, I in 30 years have, thank God, never had to make a turn like that especially in a truck. It is just a way of driving you don't do in a truck.

    In a sports car, yes.

Good info to be careful for. Doesn't tarnish my Taco at all.

There's several forums dedicated to other types of vehicles. Both Toyota an non-Toyota alike. Because, in the end, we're just people who love tinkering with our money pits.
