It's your truck do what you want! To answer your second question, anybody that owns a Tacoma or knows anything about one knows it is not a Pro. I understand wanting the Pro grille, tail lights, frogs and headlights they look cool, but what's so bad about the TRD OR or Sport that you need to re-decal it calling it something it's not? You can put a tuxedo on a pig but it's still a pig! Just my opinion!

IMO, all bed side decals look stupid. Take them off and leave them off. Just my opinion. Trying to make your truck look like something it isn't is childish also. I'll grab some pro tail lights because I love them black. I'll bake my headlights and instead of black inside, they'll be body color. All badges are removed, vinyl between the doors is removed. Sometimes less is more.

That's what's great about the Tacoma there are so many options

 

. Are you really worried what someone does to there truck. I could give to shits what they do.Its there truck and if the like it , That's all that counts. Just got done putting on some side molding by Dawn Enterprises on my 2017 Taco. Went with the color matched version, and installed them below the body line to protect from parking lot door dings. Color match was perfect, install was easy. Bought them from Sportwing.com, got them quickly. Price was right.

I love the SR grill however I don't love the big openings in it. Picked up some steel mesh from Home Depot, took the grill all apart, cut and bent the mesh to fit, zip tied in place and also compressed it between the outer frame and grill along the top and bottom. Took it all apart after test fit, painted, installed. I'm liking it so far.

 

Sometimes I get caught up reading through the forum post and they crack me up. So many negative people. This is probably how a lot of the people in these forums acted as a kid.

No, they're no different than swapping to aftermarket or any other light. Rather than tinting the stock ones, I'll replace them with other stock ones. I'm not looking for pro decals, pro rims, pro lights, pro grill, not trying to make a clone. Part of it is I hate the gaudy bedside decals and would remove them no matter what model truck I bought. Smooth, clean, no decals at all, no chrome, that's my opinion. All this said, to each his own. The guy asked for opinions and he got them. His truck, his choice. What we think is meaningless at the end of the day, only one that has to like it is him.
