Looks pretty awesome. If you go to the linked Amazon page, they also list a tent which fits long bed Tacoma's.

I have one of those air beds and it rocks! I haven't had to top up the air over a weekend of camping yet. On may long, four of us road trip to our special spot and one couple sleeps in the canopy while the other sleeps in the roof tent. It's super comfy either way.

We didn't have baby seats, but have had car seats in the back, got AC when the kids where like 5 and 3, need to go bigger now as they are to big for the AC. Manual Trans over bed size for me. I picked up a trailer for the fix.

I thought it was the other way around. The only Tundras that I have seemed to like where when I felt like they took a Tacoma and made it bigger. So I always thought the taco came before the tundra

1st Gen Tundra came after 1st Gen Tacoma so I understand. However, 3rd Gen Tundra came before 3rd Gen Tacoma which copies some styling cues from the Tundra. Do you get me.

No need to argue, you can each send me one and I'll compare them. You're a few days late for my birthday, but I'm not one to nit-pick.

I am jaelously guarding my 3.5" comfy beds :) this thing has gone through the worst the mountains and deserts have dished out. The thing to test is to throw your keys down, put a candidate bedding of choice on top of the keys, and see if you can still feel them when you lie down. If you still feel your keys, you will be feeling the rocks and tree roots

I don't think it's so much tight between trees as they're all the same width, as it is maneuverability and turning as other have mentioned. L/B would not be my choice for serious offroad, just look at the Jeep, the icon of offroading as your model.

Having said that, for a pickup there's no substitute for a real man's work truck bed, all else is just a wanna be. The L/B offers way more ride comfort, less spring, diff noise, and weird vibration issues too, because it's a real truck tried and true.

But if parking, garage, and real offroading are a priority, then the S/B is the only WTG!

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!
