Hey may be a dick but have to admit those jeeps are pretty bad ass.. probably the best episode IMO, i want to hit black bear pass, holy cross and a lot of other trails in CO

Yeah he is duchy, the XO guys are as well. They are more about marketing their brand than anything else. The videos however are produced well and are fun to watch. The locations they visit interest me as well. I belive that's the pass that the fj club does every year.

Black Bear Pass is amazing.
There's so many trails back home. I think my favorite view wise is Kingston Peak

 

Agreed, I would like to go to some of the places they have gone.

I guess that WOL/eddie are just passionate about outdoors and specifically JKs. We all do the same thing, we do it with better vehicles.

 

Have you guys ever researched eddie, sounds like he's a pretty big d-bag and has a bad rep with most jeep guys. They just posted the new video for the JKX for when they went to alaska a week ago or so. They have their own channel now on youtube, wayalife doesn't do their videos anymore.

 

Wayalife (Eddie) doesnt do the videos anymore cause Nitto tires became the sponsor and brought in their own film crew. So wasnt anything against Wayalife in regards to that.

I dont care for him more cause he bashes other companies products. Someone posts about a broken product from a company he isnt sponsored by and he just bashes it and claims his products are the best.

But there is people like him in every community. Be it skiing communities, off-roading, soccer, ect.

 

I'm hoping to run Black Bear next year. If I can make a trip to Colorado Springs.

 

Anyone here have the 3rd Gen with the BP-51's? Saw it diving near the market in Seattle

I need to learn when we stop to help/watch other people go up things, to take it off and film. I always forget this. When we were getting everyone over that hill climb with the big rock I filmed the trees for 20 minutes.

 

iPhone app with the bluetooth app on the GoPro = solved.

 

He means take it off the mount and film the trucks coming up the hill behind him

I used to mount my camera outside liken you but then I'd always get crud on it. I went on Amazon and bought a dozen mounts and stuck them at random spots on the truck. But when it's shitty i film inside.. the front of the bumper is a nice spot as well. It really showed the incline of a hill.

 

I think I'm going to try the bumper next these clips didn't show off how steep some parts are.

 

Nice video. You can use rain-x on the lens housing to help with the water drops. It's not perfect, but it dose help.
