    Anyone doing this?
Have a new pro- want 17s for better tire selection and ability to run BBK.
Have a Pro, so kinda want to to stay with the "TRD" theme.
Honestly like the flat black of those wheels too - and they're modestly priced.

    Seems like the best option.
    Will they fit?
    Offset difference?

I ordered 4Runner Pro wheels to replace my 17 ugly Tacoma Pro wheels. Should fit, no issues.

Other than the OEM, probably the most popular wheel for the 3rd gen, no issues on wheel clearance and backspacing, largest tire on stock suspension will likely be 265/70/17.

I have them on my 2016 OR with stock suspension and no fitment issues.

Yep, probably the most popular after market wheel that's put on these guys, at least around here. I went with the "bro" look with mine apparently. 265/70/17 fits fine on a stock sport, so your Pro should have zero issues with them. I think they look great on any truck.

    I'm straight bro class.

That's great news- thanks for the info.
Think I could get a step up in size in the pro? I don't mind a little dremel work.

Well the 265/70/17 is already a one up step but if you're looking to go 275 tire selection is very limited. stepping up to 285 and you're likely going to have to raise it and the truck with no power adders is going to feel sluggish with all that weight per corner, sort of the opposite of what the Pro is marketed to be I think, nimble in the desert and washboard.

Personally I think 265 is the sweetspot but it's your truck and money.

Speedo calibration from factory has a +/- 5% error margin so a one size up may make your speedo more accurate. Change in tire diameter is only about an inch overall.

Jason has been in Spain for the last two weeks, truck has been in the driveway so you're having more fun with your toys than I am with mine.

But I'm going through a shit load of Sangria to soothe the longing. :drunk:

But I'm certain you're taking the high speed, offroad, overland route to the Starbucks right? It's all about the journey, not the destination right?

To be fair, the desert has a distinct lack of lululemon-wearing honeys, so who can really appreciate your Pro over there? Got to get your money's worth where and when you can; capitalize on the market, so to speak! I hit the 'bux every chance I get, and rarely fail to park at least one wheel on the curb (so everyone knows what's up).

I go to Starbucks twice a day

I don't like going close to the curbs that ruins my tire shine

Just get an umbrella girl that will re-shine your tires right in the parking lot.
