My truck has the bro lean today

 

I think its permitted when said truck is actually doing work

 

Lol oh yeah it's been a workhorse today for sure. Cutting yards in Greenville cherrydale Powdersville, Easley, and piedmont

 

Man it's in here today. Got all of my skids painted and mounted today and all I can say is that I'm exhausted and that crap is heavy! Then on top of that I found my DS inner CV boot finally broke (it has been on the edge for a while) so I need to fix that ASAP. Painted the skids with Rustoleum bedliner. I did the front main skid with 2 coats of self etching primer and 2 coats of bedliner. The other two skids I did just bedliner, so we will see which one holds up better. Next weekend I'll tackle the sliders and rear bumper with some rustoleum professional flat black and self etching primer.

 

You'll have it all over the sides of your truck that's for sure haha

 

How was drilling the holes for he 3rd skid? I've still gotta mount mine

 

It's not that bad if you step it. I used 5 different bits to make it easier on myself. Mounted the front of the skid to the trans crossmember and then used vice grips to clamp the back side to the frame. Still the furthest two holes first (one on each side). Make sure you wear safety glasses and be prepared to get showered in hot metal. Interested to see how hard the slider install will be. Those things are freaking heavy!

 

Uneventful day. Ordered some new badges for the Scat Pack.
