Bout to suit up and head to the Halloween festivities in uptown.

 

So, my aunt was admitted to rehab last. I'll spare some of the details. Went to her house today to check the sewage, as I said.

It was awful. Beyond words. It was Hoarders, exrept real. In my face, under my shoes, in my nose. Beyond words. Had to put gloves on. Gonna wash my shoes when I get home. Got a bag full of rx meds to flush. Mostly codeine and big xanax.

 

Oh my lord. Hopefully she can get some help. Nice of you to be there in tough times, as unbearable as it sounds.

 

I wasn't there for the hard part. My mom was. She took my aunt to the airport Friday. Apparently my aunt popped 3 xanax between the house in Bee Caves and the airport. On top of trying open a hidden bottle of wine with her fingernails. Meanwhile my cousin has been dealing with this shit for who knows how long. Glad she's on campus now.

 

Damn. Hope you are going to have some fun this weekend to get your mind off all that.

I just detailed the Rav inside and out. Fixing to watch the Texas game and relax.

 

Sup yall, just went to Torchys after I took something to the dump for my mom. then went grocery shopping with the woman.

Now at home again catching up on the game. drinking a brewsky.

Curious to see where this goes. It was pretty hard. And I'm glad I was alone. Rush of feelings. Most not good. Made harder because she has a lot of my grandmother's furniture. Thinking of her death still conjures up feelings of anger, especially towards the church...whole other bag of worms.

I can imagine it was. Tough seeing things like that in person, even worse when it's a relative. Stay strong brother.

 

So drug rehab or hoarder rehab?

 

Don't flush those pills. Take them to a doctor or hospital for proper disposal. Water treatment facilities don't remove pharmaceuticals from the water. It just goes through and is still in the water when it leaves the facility.

 

Drug. Apparently, as my mom was taking her through the airport, her pants kept falling down. No underwear on. Hope none of y'all flew out Friday morning...

 

I just threw the bottles in the trash.

 

But you run the risk of a felony for transporting that amount of prescription meds without a prescription or a badge.
