I'm stoked for next weekend! I kinda want to try the trails on the other side!?

I am not good with directions. I was following @Rebelimo last time? @Subway4X4 @HolyHandGrenade and @stairgod adopted me since it was my first time. But im open to stuff similar to what you did today.

The other side is an additional $10 I think but I've never been there and seen cool videos. @Firebird led us today and could chime in on what trails we did as I had no idea

That's sweet how that diff skid covers the U-joint as well. My RCI skid does not.

Never been to the other side. Map shows way too many greens and only a few blues, but I would be up to try it out.

Still plenty to try on the original side for me.

    But, I'm up for whatever.

Well it sucks because of if the other side isn't fun it's a waste of $10. That being said I'll try to find videos or links to videos and post them and maybe we can decide from there?

    Dude. It's 10 bucks.
I can think of at least three places on the other side that are each worth the 10 bucks.:boink:

Haven't forgot about you Lloyd @Subway4X4 I did see your message a while back.

I am actually doing a full redesign on skid package.

Only going to offer 3/16" thick steel and 1/4" thick aluminum on version 2. The steel ones will be fully reinforced and provide a touch more ground clearance than our current design. With the redesign we are going to make LCA and diff and possible fuel tank.

I am trying to come up with a design that does not attach to the fuel tank at all and instead bolts into solid points on the truck. There are other skids out there that are more of a plate that just sits on the underside of the tank and held in place with straps. That "works" but then if you actually drag the plate across something and the weight on the truck is bearing down on it it could just break the straps.

And that's what I was hoping I would hear! Positive confirmation! Well if @Fifthwind and his awesome rig says the other side is worth it then it's worth it.

For the life of me, I don't even understand why they have the plastic one there. It literally offer no more protection than not having one at all.
