Word. I thought I was prepared. Downstairs was fine. Nothing overly shocking. Then I went into her bedroom, and bathroom. Was on the phone with my mom and had to hang up. It's like how does shit even get to that point.

 

Mental illness. Was she self medicating (not prescribed), or was she abusing her prescriptions? the drug use could've been a coping mechanism

 

Initially we though abusing. But today we/ I learned that a lot of the pills she was taking we for her daughter. So possibly both. On top of not eating (wanting to lose weight) and drinking.

 

That sucks man, sorry.

 

Well yall, big day tomorrow. Got all my lake gear (ice chest, beer, water, beer, towels, ropes, surfboard, hat) all ready to go.

Should be on the water no later than 11am. Baby is cooking a big breakfast before we go. And I've got one of my long time friends and his fiance coming.
