The 12" Kings are 19.565 collapsed and 31.565 extended. I've got 5 inches of bump travel and 7" droop with the relocate and shackle flip. Daily drivin feels good!

Numbers are a little off since we left 2" of shock extension on the table. The new springs are arriving this week, and according to Alcans specs, there will be about 1-1/2" more droop ("free travel", I think) than the Dakars. 6.5" vs. the 5" we measured on the Dakars. We drooped the Dakars and set the eye to eye length at 29.5". The extended length of the 12" Kings is 31.5". With the new springs, the shock should be extended 31". At current ride height (24" center of hub to fender), there was about 3.5" of compression, which will go to 5" with the new springs. May need to add a spacer to the Superbumps.

@BudMan could probably give you better numbers since he's running Dakars and doesn't have a house on the back of his truck.

Highly recommend @Bentrodder for the install. Plan to make a day of it. Don't forget to ask about the OTPHJ discount.

No problem, she was headed out to Rohnert Park to get ingredients for my Brisket marinade anyway.

Wish I could've dropped it off myself but I worked until 7.

Yeah, it was the bump and droop in application that I was interested in. The King data sheet specs for these mean nothing without....Tacoficity. Do you have standard Dakars, or did you do the AAL or shims or Superbumps, too?

Ahhhh fucking Alcans. Yeah, I need Dakar numbers. I'm looking at a Crom setup:
    Dakars, pull an overload
    Add the AAL
    3 degree shims
    Allpro Ubolt flip with Superbumps

With this, even if I put the overload back in, I'll still be safe.

EDIT oh yeah. Cotati or wherever is quite a ways from me. I'd love to take advantage of Bentrodders "services, " but it woudl be quite a time investment and time negotiation with mommy. This is what makes the 12/relocate less attractive, plus I don't plan on hauling my primary residence over the Rubicon.o_O

I love those goddamn wheels. I almost swapped mine off my first gen with the 2015 OR Alloys before I sold my 1st gen.

And they look great with a graphite/gunmetal treatment.

lol, that was a year ago, but we've had a lot of meets, trips, and mini mod days between each norcal sub group. Where've you been? haven't seen you since MJ's back in april.

Standard Dakars, no aal and both overloads. No shims though I just picked some up. Initially some takeoff vibes but they seem to have gone away. Just added some ghetto fabulous bump extensions yesterday. 2" square stock welded to the bump frame plate . The shackle flip limits some up travel, but also lifts the rear so it's not a full 2" loss. I gotta go flex out again and fine tune the bump travel. Still running stock bumps. I'm just gonna trim them down if the extensions are leaving too much on the table.

This was within 1/4" of full bump (extensions not yet in). Droop had a bit more than an inch to go. Not sure what the limit will be, but it'll be top of tire below the slider!
