I got about 8 gallons and I'm thinking of burning it in the truck over the next 2 or 3 filings. Adding 2-3 gallons to 3/4 of a tank. It's mixed 50:1 now and would easily be 700-800:1 when it gets burnt.

Will this f*** up the cats,O2,and AFR sensors; whatcha think?

For what gets weedwhacked, a gallon for that isn't a bad idea.

I would be more worried about the gas being stale than the two stroke oil. I wouldn't do it but its your truck. If you just want to get rid of it most garages that burn used motor oil for heat can burn it.

I wouldn't risk running premix in my truck, you're going to run the chance of damaging something for $16-20 worth of gas you don't want to waste?...

:goingcrazy:Don't put that crap in your truck. Who knows what it will do to the plugs, the O2 sensors, the computer that controls spark and mixture may freak out. Just burn it in whatever you originally had it for.

I dumped about 4L (1gal) into my truck last year and nothing bad came of it. Of course that being said it was my old ford ranger not my new tacoma!

I wouldn't do it. $20 worth of fuel isn't worth risking on a $20,000 truck.

Been doing that for decades now, never had an issue due to the extreme dilution and the fact that 2 stroke oil is formulated to be low ash and designed to be burned. I don't know if I'd do it with a DI type FI system but port type, I doubt it would ever be an issue. Doubt if it'll affect the o2 sensors or Cats either as vehicles can burn quarts of oil between changes and not have an issue and that is not oil designed to be combusted. [many new vehicle manufacturers consider a quart of oil for every 1000 or so miles to be perfectly acceptable.]

OP, you don't have a boat or a friend with a boat up there?

As far as burning it in the truck, I would do it. Maybe a little bit less than what you plan, but either way no hesitation from where I sit. Of course, I used to dump my unused gas in my Cummins Dodges or unused MOGAS in HMMWVs or unused diesel in gas generators.

You'll add contamination to your cats and might damage the sensors. It's not worth it. If you have an old carbureted rig laying around it's actually fairly good for the engine in small enough doses.

Modern 4 stroke oil has been designed to be burned in small amounts. Additives that existed in the past are no longer used because burning them fowls emissions equipment. Take ZDDP for example. This two stroke oil hasn't been certified to be ran in a 4 stroke engine and I wouldn't bet my expense cats on it.

I slop all my old fluids at work.

It's a fringe benefit of working at a refinery. Easy peasy recycling.
