Finally had the opportunity to use my Rigid D series midnight edition LED pods off-road on a recent hunting trip. I mounted them to the underside of the front Yakima round bar that's mounted to my Leer 180 mid-rise cap. I want them for some extra distance while running low beams & fogs. I'm very happy with the results.

For sure... those small pods are freakin bright. That reflection off in the distance is a feller-buncher that was parked for the night.

I may adjust them up a CH...just to reduce that shadow line from my roof.

Spent a few days hunting up in northern Maine. Weather wasn't the best (for October) but managed to fill the game vest with 4 grouse & 4 Woodcock....all pointed. Found plenty of birds in all of the covers I hunted...getting good shots is another story.

Anyone do any Halloween scare pranks?

Few years back, I had raked a HUGE pile of leaves near the walkway up to my front door.

I climbed inside the pile wearing a Jason style hockey mask and armed with warm chainsaw (start on one pull) with blade removed.

I positioned myself so I could see who was approaching....when an older group ok kids would approach......BAM out I'd jump!!

It was epic...I've since had kids come back telling me how awesome it was. Don't think they were thinking that at the time..I bet someone had to have shit themselves.
