Generally speaking this, unless you're ultra-anal and forego ease of installation for precision.

If you want precise readings on a V6 engine then yes you would need two. One on each side before the 1st cat.

I am easily tempted toward precision.

I have two on stock headers. I'll take pictures and post 'em.

That being said, I have been seriously considering buying URD equal length long tube headers, but I have to figure out how to do it without being murdered by my wife.

    Dis

I like the way you think.

I want long tubes also, but I don't want to fool with all the check engine light business that seems to be associated with O2 simulators.

Im on the speedhut site ordering another AFR gauge right now. Damn this is getting expensive, haha.

Absolutely right, but that's the cost of ensuring reliability and optimum performance when adding F/I.

Think about it this way: you'll never regret adding this stuff but you will regret not adding it.

Thats exactly how I think. Additional AFR gauge ordered. Additional LC-2 ordered.

The key is to know when to stop. My poverty charger will only make x amount of power. At some point, the dividends paid on what's invested will halt. So know what your end game is and ultimately plan for that.

I'm not going for huge gains and don't plan to race or go to the track. Just adding some pep to compensate for some of the go-slow accessories that I plan to add in the future. An extra few hundred dollars isn't a deal breaker. After the charger install is complete, that will be the end of the performance upgrades (engine-wise) for this truck.

It's a big ole circle jerk in here and if you're not in on it, you are L-A-M-E-O.

Agreed. Hard-on for now, but once the thing is installed, I'll probably grin for a month or so, and then it will be no big deal.

I must admit in the last several pages I feel I've been one of the leaders of this circle-jerk. Haha.
