so i took my truck in cuz i had a bad vibration while turning from a dead stop and while parallel parking. they checked everything and said it was cuz the cap wasn't lubed. so i guess he lubed it but i still feel a little bit of vibration just not as bad... can this really be cuz the cap wasnt lubed or can it be something else?

all he said was that the cap wasnt lubed enough so he lubed it and no more vibration. but i still feel the vibration kinda when the tires are fully turned (locked)

Take a little initiative before running to the dealer for every little noise/problem; get a good bright flashlight, and look under the front fenders, and check for spots where there has been any kind of contact. If that fails, get a friend to help you by standing to the side of ther truck while you drive slowly with the front wheels turned full lock in both directions, and try to reproduce the sound. Feathered tires can make noise, but it would have to be extreme before you would hear much noise, so I would not think that is your problem.

    Not going to brag.
Could it be drive shaft vibration? and you only feel it because of the slop speeds involved?

i only feel it on dead stop, then turning all the way or parallel parking.

so just got off the phone with my service guy and he said what was lubricated was the steering stop cap on the suspension.

can someone fill me on this cap?

I remember them on my older toyota trucks, you had to lube them or the truck would make a horrendous metal on metal noise when turning sharp into a parking space (kinda like what you are describing). I didn't realize the newer ones had them. Now I am going to go look, it is hard for me to explain. Usually there was a plastic cap too if I remember correctly, its been a while since I heard the god forsaken noise.
