    No harm there.

    Keep in mind variable lenses usually have a sweet spot somewhere in the middle.

    Like that 55-200 sounds great, but image quality at 55 and at 200 will be poor compared to at 120. So how much do you think you'll use 120mm with that lens?

    An 18-55 and a 85-200 or similar would be a better setup.

    All in one lenses work fine but just keep that in mind, the convenience comes at a small cost.

    Gotcha... I thought usually the 50mm have a blurry background cuz of the 1.8 aperture vs the 3.5-5.6 of a kit lens

    Honestly any camera in your budget is going to be as good as the next.

    You are the one taking pics, good camera, great camera, bad camera.. in good hands they'll be good and in bad hands they'll be bad. Get a basic setup and learn how to use it. Ben said once the T2i was more capable than he was, and it was an old model at that point, too.

    I just mainly commented on stuff because you don't want to get focused on fine details like megapixels.

    These are samples from a Canon 1D. 8.1 megapixels. Full frame sensor. Camera is 15+ years old, still takes amazing pics.
