^^^ this, only difference I have ever found is occasionally I will pop one of the crimps, but never a solder. Conversely, solders are a pita to redo if you add, upgrade or modify anything.

I took the week because if I don't use it by Christmas I lose it. Still have 3 days if vacation to choose, the company closes for 4 days at Thanksgiving and closes from Christmas eve until after bee year.

@357sig flipping through channels and see the "donut showdown" took a look and the surprise ingredient the have to use is lychee :goingcrazy:

It's not. I did that working retail and it sucked. I missed so much time with my family and friends and the toll it took on my health from no sleep and the stress was ridiculous. I know most people don't think retail management is stressful but it really is.

Final straw was when my dad passed away and my boss had the balls to ask me if I was coming back to work the next day. Then she also told me that I only got a few days off per the bereavement policy since it wasn't a "pre-planned vacation". At the time I had over 200hrs of vacation I could borrow as we had just rolled over and she refused to let me use it. I was off 5 days(turned in my 2 weeks during that time)and came back to her going on a non-planned vacation. I went to my doctor and told her what was going on and she wrote me a work release for my final two weeks. I walked out leaving her a couple weeks before Tax Free Weekend and half my team walked out with me once I told them what happened. I wasn't trying to be a petty bitch but she really did it to herself.

Sorry I kind of got off track.

TL; DR - its not worth it.

Guess I'm kinda the opposite . I don't mind working 7 days a week. hell, if there were 8 days I work all 8. plus I get off at 12pm. so most of my friends wont wake up till 12 or leave the house till 12

So I could be making money while they sleep lol

Yes...that's why I told you they were putting it in donuts :drevil: Thought you might want to try it. Or add donut flavor to your lychee vape juice

My issue was working 7 days a week usually from 3AM-8PM only to do it again the next day. If I was getting off early enough to have a life that wouldn't be bad. No lunches, breaks, getting stuck working every single holiday and having to cancel plans all the time when I was scheduled off because of poor planning by my boss. It sucked a lot. My job now is so easy its kind of ridiculous, but its the same hours every day and my boss is fine with me taking time off to go to race events and stuff so that's cool. I worked for Old Navy for 11 years and I feel like I just started living my life again after all those years basically putting it on pause.
