Haha!!! My truck is a spoiled bitch. Sleeps under the cover at night, comes straight to work a staggering 2 miles. Right into the parking garage lol.

Better believe it man!!! I didnt really have any intentions of building an offroad vehicle. Partially why i bough a 4x2. Just needed a little truck for transporting shit around town and whatnot. Also, helping my dad put the boats in the water.

 

Totally understandable. I'd be the same way in your situation. Around here though, 4WD is the only way to go. Plus, I've never been able to leave anything stock. I wonder what it's going to be like if I get a wife and have to start buying family vehicles haha.

We have 4wheelers, dirtbikes, 3wheelers, golf carts, jet skiis, and boats and other vehicles other that my truck when i want to get off the beaten path or go romp around.

 

I want all those toys...

 

Haha!!! For real, they are all my dads. But he said the lakehouse and boathouse and all the shit in em will be mine one day lol. He just bought a bad ass old Fire Truck - not like the actual fire truck, but a truck that was the fire departments at the lakehouse. Pretty sweet, 4x4 lockers, he just rigged up a high lift on the front bumper. looks beef

For sure, i have a feeling we will be rescuing a bunch of cars that get stuck on the granite shoals. When the lake goes down people get really ballsy, and always end up getting stuck lol.

 

Are there any legality issues to driving around a "labeled firetruck" if you're not a fireman? *assuming neither you or your father are....*

 

Heck if I know dude!!!! He knows everybody in the small town where the lakehouse is. Im sure if would be an issue if he was turning on the sirens and speeding through red lights and stuff. But the town doesnt even have a light in it lol

 

Haha oh I'm sure there's no issue then. I just know around here like when people buy old police cars or anything they have to strip down all the labeling.
