Why foam boards?

 

flat spots. just going to over inflate and then park on these

Are you running bias ply tires on these cars?

yes of course

no but i get flat spots on the bikes after only a couple of weeks too

 

I leave the evo/truck on my driveway for over a month no problem.. If you roll it forward/backward every other week you should be fine.

 

i'm storing the bmw an hour away so that's not happening

 

But isn't the BMW on junk tires anyways...

 

Shrug. Just curious. Radial tires are pretty resistant to flat-spotting from storage, and they return to their original shape as soon as they warm up (1-2 miles of driving, max).
I put my truck up on blocks when it goes in for storage, but that's more to protect them from weather cracking from the moisture in the concrete than for flat spots.

 

only half of them are junk!

 

i put the bikes on stands in the winter, the tires on the cars cost way more, $20 worth of foam is worth it to me

 

Wow that's a great deal, the place near me in Bow, NH wants $225 per application...

i took the truck to nh oil in concord last year for their version of fluid film. stayed clear, didn't turn yellow. i can't remember how much it was but the price was fair. only reason i'm not doing it again this year is because i don't plan on driving the truck this winter

 

I'm going to be dropping in to order some parts from a friend who works at a Toyota dealership. I'm going to talk to his boss about possibly setting up a TW group buy or discount if he's interested. I'm thinking of talking him into one item to start and see if he thinks it's worth doing more after that. If you could pick one OE/TRD item you'd like to see as a group buy, what would it be?

Yup I had to buy some of that stuff for the bathroom. Fun fun.

 

Check out Camelback Toyota. They used to have awesome deals on that stuff and shipping was free. They even had 'tune up kits', the 5k mile kit would have a filter and washer, or you could get ones with oil, air and cabin filters with crush washer for the oil.
