Is it likely that my ballasts are burnt out?

Got my kit today! Super fast for the free shipping option.

Started mocking things up. Apollo 3 shrouds w/ 110mm halos in them.

    9629439B-9CB6-4541-A3EF-97015861A008_zps_7de732bfbdd6ebdbc4567de904bfc8a116ad3461.jpg

Is the color bleeding out the rear of the shroud normal? The shroud is seated the whole way down on the projector. Is there a way to seal the rear of the shroud against the bowl so the light doesnt bleed out?

The unintentional demon eye was kinda a surprise too.

That is super bright! Is the halo facing the front or rear? It's hard to tell

The leds face the front of the shroud.

I messed with it a bit today. Once you enter the discount code, it will show a message it was applied, but did not show it in the total until I clicked "Continue" in the promo code section. Once I did that it, reflected the $83 discount and reduced the total by as much on a DS2 kit.

Ok so I switched the igniters and that didn't do anything. I then switched the ballasts and still only the driver side comes on. I'm lost now...

I just want it to be known that moisture will occasionally seep in the housings, I recently went through some mud weeks ago and there's little dirt dry spots at the bottom of the housing so I know they're not completely sealed - I did not build these.

100mm is the best size to use for the Apollo 3.0

So you guys with switchback halos, are they still visible with your headlights on?

I'm using plain ol amber halos in mine. I plan on wiring them up so they turn off when the headlights come on.

I got the bezels painted today

Visible as in "bright enough to be seen while HIDs are on"? or visible as in "do they turn off when HIDs are on"?

Yes you can see them while HIDs are on.
I have mine wired on a switch in the cab so I turn them off when I use my headlights.

If u want the switchback function you need to run wire from taillights and tap into them. From what I have been told at least...I haven't gotten around to it....yet.
