Awesome pictures. Just got my 2017 OR yesterday looking to take it out for some fun this weekend with a buddy. Just moved to Michigan too anyone familiar with some easy offroading out in the west side of the state?

Nice off road spot! Almost hard to believe you made it there with 4wd and all the off road tech. Were the bigger rims part of the "I'll never leave the pavement socal special"?

I have some friends who have a 100 acres near Study Butte(a few miles from Terlingua). They live up on the side of a small mountain across Terlingua creek. I'm going out there for Thanksgiving, first time in my own 4x4(Tacoma 2016 OR), previously when visiting there I would use their 4x4. So I am looking forward to doing some off roading there. I checked a bunch of road maps in Big Bend national Park......also not going to do anything hardcore since I will be just me and family, no other vehicle. There are YouTube videos etc of most of the off roads there. At most when it comes to the more challenging ones will do what you did.
Nice pic too! I'll post my trip pics after getting back.
Can't wait to get back there from the flat lands of Houston!
Some pics from last Thanksgiving.....wife made me drive 80 miles round trip out to that art piece outside of Marfa....Prada......she's Russian...a poser ; ). We took some pics....

Just outside Monticello. Not really in the mountainy bits, but in the region. Did a little driving down a goat trail at sunrise as seen below.

You'll have a great time. Stay on the high clearance roads and you'll be fine. We at least saw 5 vehicles in the 8 hours we were on them. None of West River road. But, it was more fun and challenging. Can't wait to see pictures!
